With its impressive GN72 with a high performance reflector (not included), 30W/5600K/CRI95+ LED modeling lamp, and convenient top handle, it caters to various shooting needs. Note: Do not trigger the flash without plugging in the flash tube, as it will damage the equipment.
  • TTL/Manual/Multi Flash Modes- Compatible with Canon E-TTL II, Nikon i-TTL, and Sony TTL automatic flash system, Q4 has three flash modes: TTL, Manual, and Multi (Stroboscopic). Fully Support Flash Exposure Compensation; 1/8000s High-Speed Sync; Manual outputs the user's choice of power, modeling light, first/second curtain sync, etc. Multi controls the stroboscopic rate up to 100 times (199 Hz). Support S1, S2 mode, C.Fn custom setting, etc. Support USB Type C firmware upgrades

    Q4 light is very easy to use. Paired it with Godoz trigger using latest firmware. I'm impressed with the build quality and user interface. Probably going to buy one or two more and replace my studio lights that run on AC. The modeling lamp on the Q4 is quite useful, wonderfully bright if needed, and a true help in the studio. I highly recommend this light, have not reviewed or tried the q6, as the Q4 is meeting my needs. Can only guess that the more powerful light it would be even better.

    The power of the flash meets my needs for indoor photography as well as sufficient outdoor lighting. I prefer not to use the studio light as I prefer dedicated lights for that purpose. The design of the box is different from what I am used to and perhaps I feel it is a bit heavy compared to other flashes I have had; however the navigation through the menu is quite friendly. The battery life is what I expected and can hold an average portrait session, I prefer to have an extra battery in case I need a longer session. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase and think Neewer has done a great job of competing directly with Godox at a much more affordable price.

    This is my first studio flash unit ever and I have to say I love it. Why? Well, the first thing you notice is that it has a neat metal casing, with a neatly screwed-on lid. This means that if the worst comes to the worst, it can be repaired if necessary. It also differs in its form factor and the extremely practical bow handle on top. This offers the opportunity to move very mobile without further assistance. I used it to photograph a house for a real estate agent, room by room, the whole thing was done in an hour with perfectly lit images.

    Ahead of me shooting my city’s Sports Awards I decided to up my game and buy the Q4, in addition to my 2 x Z1-S’s.

    I did a test run on some headshots for the rugby club that I’m a photographer for and it excelled, the form factor is spot on!

    When I have some money again I’ll buy another and more modifiers!

I think the design is game changer that other companies will follow. the design makes it great for moving it around on location.The modeling light is great for in-studio work. You cannot find nothing with these specs for the price.

    The big thing you have to be aware of is that the Neewer ecosystem is not compatible with Godox equipment. My Godox triggers will not work with this light. Which is a great pity. Therefore, I'm returning this unit.

    Ive used the lights for a few shoots now and i am impressed how well it performs, battery life is great, consistency in power output is ok as you would expect from a light at this price but the best of all is the design, its sleek, modern and space saving. Just a great product, used this together withe 2x Z1 and I achieved amazing results.

    The bowens mount slots were to small for a neewer softbox.. had to file the edge with dremel
