NEEWER X11 2-In-1 Teleprompter with Monitor

This teleprompter is awesome! Acts as a second monitor and great for streaming chat but also for recording videos with scripts when you need to look more directly down the tube.

As a promoter of smartphone educational videos,I bought this teleprompter because I needed a lightweight, portable teleprompter for location video production work. The Neewer X11 fills the bill. It is lightweight, easy and quick to set up, and works with my iPhone. Pair it with the PromptSmart app and you have a prompter solution that works for producing educational videos that look professional. I give it 5 starts and highly recommend it. My only wish is that Neewer provide a case for it or at least provide an accessory case that I could buy so that when I take it on location, I would have a way to carry it safely.

Fantastic unit for the money very easy to use set up and super sturdy

This is a fantastic teleprompter. The included monitor is great, and I love that the newest design uses a single cable with a built-in USB-A video adapter so I don't even need to use an HDMI port for this, just a USB-A port. The mount fits my Sony ZV-E10 with a 30mm lens just right, and the overall package is a great size. It's plastic construction and may not be very rugged if you were hauling it around, but I'm mounting it in my studio and not moving it so that's a moot point. Even so, if I did need to pack it anywhere, I kept the box it came in which has a very solid cut-foam insert, so that would be more than adequate. The fact that it runs a full monitor from my computer instead of having to use an external tablet or phone for the display is really nice, as all my production software and meeting software is on not mobile-based anyway. Definitely recommended over any other option out there.

Works great! It doesn’t have a Linux app but it is just a second monitor so I can use whichever I need on it. Also works well with just my phone though I like to type my script out in another note taking app then copy it into the Neewer app.

I love this. Coming from propping an iPad behind my camera, this is heaven. Easy setup and very easy to use.

This is truly great. No side look or above look as I had to do with my previous Teleprompter. I can look right into the camera and make eye contact with my viewers instead of looking in multiple directions. Love it!!

I’ve been loving this teleprompter. Paired with my Neewer tripod stand. I’m able to now connect with my audience.

Super product
The only pity is that the remote control is not part of the package and must be purchased separately.

Quality build is ok, packaging is hard to work with(hard to remove)

I dont think i would buy again

This is a great price with SOME caveats:
Good enough for smaller cameras/phones even a nearly naked Blackmagic pocket cinema camera 4K reveals the flimsy nature of the camera-mount parts. They should be thicker plastic of metal, so keep the camera small. Also, the quick-release plate is tricky and there are zero instructions to it's operation. The camera mount overall is a wekk link.
Also, getting it to work with my M2 Macbook Pro was finicky but I did get it to work once I used the updated driver from the website and NOT the one built-in to the unit.
Software works great and I am otherwise happy.

The teleprompter is great and it does a great job. On the other hand, the instructions provided are not clear and I’m still trying to figure things out since the information is not clear. My recommendation is to update the instructions and make it clear and easy to find.

Absolutely stunning! I’m really glad I picked this one up. It made my job so much easier. And the setup is pretty simple. Overall a great buy!

Very good product and a much needed tool to add to my production process. I only had issues connecting to my Mac because I adjust had 3 monitors connected. No issues using it with my Dell laptop.

This teleprompter is excellent and a huge upgrade over the previous one I own. First, this unit is light and compact so I can mount it on a light stand if I choose. Additionally, this unit can sit on a light stand in front of my larger tripod/camera rig, giving me, more setup flexibility. Best of all is the included monitor. It’s hard to find a monitor that mirrors flips as this one does. In addition to reading a script, I can use a PowerPoint presentation or use the teleprompter as a confidence monitor with the script superimposed. Additionally, I don’t need to worry about my iPad falling off the prompter like my old one.

The mounting options for webcams and mobile phones are excellent. Also, I can read this monitor from a good distance.

Very flexible, excellent, all around teleprompter which I can highly recommend.

P.S.: I would buy a case for this if one becomes available. The box it was shipped in works great for transport.

I own a lot of Neewer products and have always had fantastic experiences with them - this teleprompter is definitely right in line with the quality that I expect from them. It's excellent quality, super easy to set up and use, and makes content creation a breeze. It just WORKS just as it is supposed to and has saved me loads of time in getting videos done.It works with any camera, it's stable, it doesn't rely on glitchy software or gimmicks either. Lots of flexibility here and gear you can depend on. Not much more you can ask for than that.

I moved to this teleprompter from another that is very similar in concept made by a different company and that was the best decision ever - this one is about half the price of that one but works 100X better. Cannot recommend this teleprompter enough - it is worth every penny of the price and then some!
