The light seamlessly reflected from three perspectives can eliminate shadows, and the fabric is suited for strobes, monolights, LED lights, and even natural sunlight
- Tool-Free Assembly- Six interlocking curved tubes, two rugged metal rods, and screw knobs enable you to assemble the frame in minutes without any tool needed. The curved tubes and rods can smoothly slip through the rod pockets and stretch the reflector taut
- Adjustable Angles- The swivel stand mount can directly snap on the back of the frame and tilt up and down for desired reflection angles. Screw knobs help you secure the mount on a stand and adjust angles with ease (stand sold separately)

I recently received my Clamshell Reflector and now I'm experimenting with it.
I'm very pleased with the results as it's different than what I normally received with umbrellas or even a soft box off to the side. I started with AC powered strobes but my needs are for location work so the attached self portrait was shot using a single Canon 580 speedlight rigged in a two foot foldable Beauty dish and a Canon 430 flash aimed at a backdrop paper. I have a 38 inch soft box on order and popup backdrop for portability. I'm very pleased with the Neewer Reflector.
However my challenges were finding the proper size stand to support the Reflector. My stands were either too tall even when collapsed or my small stands were too narrow in their footprint allowing the Reflector to tip over. The other issue is the huge size of the reflector. I think a smaller version would better fit my needs especially when shooting in a tight room. My attached photo is the result of using the white reflector panel.
I am interested in experimenting with the silver. Other than the large size and the need to find a short stand with a wider footprint I'm very pleased with this reflector. I haven't done a lot of clamshell lighting but I can see I need to add it to my options.
Great price, but a bit difficult to assemble, as the fabric pulls too much when trying to insert and secure the smaller rods.
Sturdy. Assembly was easy. Instructions are not included but I found a video online.
Easy setup right out of the box. Worked as expected.
