NEEWER BASICS M21 Magnetic Auxiliary Light For DJI OSMO Pocket 3

Dang, i have good things and bad things about this product:The light is awesome, and as its name, its lightweight. Very easy to use and carry around.The shoulder mount is nice as well, doesnt interrupt movement.Now, the top mount is where things get messy. At least for me, it adds friction with the gimbal, and with the light on top the gimbal loses accuracy and even loses strengh sometimes. I personally only use the shoulder mount with the light on the sides and that works fine for my applications.

This fill light is tiny and seems sturdy. The buttons feel good and the magnets are strong. The controls are quick and intuitive. The medium brightness works well in a home settings at about 3’ from my face. The light is diffuse and the warm color setting matches my other lights. It doesn’t remember the brightness and color temp, but it’s not complicated enough for that to matter. It does work while plugged in, which is good because I only get about an hour on medium brightness. The magnets securely attach to the included mounting brackets, but there are plastic guides that prevent it from attaching well to random metal surfaces.

This light is nicely designed and functions well. The brackets fit the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 camera well, and it can be used either above the camera itself or on either left or right sides of the camera body. It adds a bit of light but is not as bright as I expected, but perhaps as a "fill in" light that is all it is supposed to do.The biggest limitation is that the light tracks well with the camera's aiming horizontally as it rotates, but does not follow the camera angle up and down. There may not be a good way to follow the extremely light weight camera itself vertically, but that does provide a limitation regarding which buyers should be aware.

As a content creator, I use my Pocket 3 regularly to film videos. While its 4K and low-light performance is impressive, sometimes you just need a little extra light to get the shot just right.That’s where this Neewer magnetic light comes in. It’s incredibly compact—only 15 grams—and comes with two mounting options: one that wraps around the neck/head of the gimbal and another that attaches to the side. Both are easy to use, but the neck mount can interfere with the gimbal's movement if you're spinning the camera around. I do a mix of vlogging and capturing my surroundings, so the side mount is the better fit. I do wish it had a cold shoe attachment to expand its versatility a bit more.The light itself is surprisingly powerful. It offers three color temps (warm, neutral, cool) and three brightness levels. Controls are super simple—just two buttons on top. I wish there were more fine-tuned brightness options, since the jump between levels feels more like "bright, brighter, brightest" rather than "low, medium, high."Overall, this is a fantastic, compact light that adds real value to the Pocket 3 setup. Neewer nailed it again with a smart, budget-friendly accessory that just works.

This little light is exactly what I needed for my DJI Pocket 3. Super easy to snap on with the magnetic mount—no tools, no stress. The three color modes and brightness levels make a big difference, especially when filming indoors or at night. It’s tiny but powerful, and the battery lasts long enough for my typical filming sessions. Great quality!

Good fit. Really snug. Night light with different color and intensity options.It came so close to being able to fit in the case with the pocket 3, this would've been very convenient for transporting. There's no case or pouch included and the top mount one seems very delicate - I kinda wish it was a light metal because the hinge on it feels like you could easily break it while trying to put it on the camera, so just be careful with it.USB charging cable is also include but no wall adapter.

This is a very compactly designed fill light for Pocket 3. It magnetically connects to the mount and provides enough light to lit up my face in low light situations. It won’t make a hug difference directly against the sun light, but in most other situations it works just fine, especially indoors. It does reduce the noise level by a lot.

This small clip on LED light for my Pocket3 really does help low light situationsThe LED is quite bright which was surprisingThere are different levels of power and temperature of the lightOne thing I do not recommend is using the full clip on harness which attached to the video head / gimbalI noticed my gimbal having tiny vibration issues when moving and with this added weight the battery life will be lessenedThe better use is the side clip on option which doesn't attach to the moving head - of course this limits the light as it does not follow the gimbal headHowever, what's more valuable - the gimbal head or lighting the scene (you can always use this as a hand held)

Light is very bright which is very cool but it's not safety and easy to bring on the light.

This fill light is quite impressive. I guess you can say it's "tiny but mighty". It fills light exactly where you want it to when you're using the gimbal and it has 3 different mounting positions so it's quite flexible. The thing I didn't expect was the light is actually magnetic so it's very easy to change positions for different light exposures. It also has 3 different color settings along with 3 different brightness settings. If you have a gimbal and want a compact light, this is the way to go! I will say the one downside however is the plastic that goes around the gimbal's neck seems a little flimsy so I hope it doesn't break too quickly.
