Really nicely made light. The light color and uniformity with the provided reflector is very good, and the Bowens adapter ring is solid and easy to install.
Output is excellent when operated on plug-in power. However, when operated on battery power, you loose a bit more than 1 stop of light, or 63% (measured), when operated on (2) 8900mAh or 6600mAh batteries. This is a fairly large difference in measured light, however, when tested with the camera, the difference is one full stop, so is tolerable. The tradeoff is that battery life will be significantly improved. On plug power the light consumes 8A at 19.6V (156W). At battery power, the consumption will be roughly 58W. On battery this equates to 3.9A load. This will deliver 1.7 hours on a pair of 6600mAh batteries, or 2.3 hours on 8900mAh batteries. For my use, when I need the added light output (soft box or umbrella application), I will operate the lights from a portable 300Wh external battery to power the 120V power supply. This will deliver 67% more light output, for about the same 2 hours. Further, at 50% dim livel, the external battery will provide me 4.5 hours of run time, which is longer than I need for any remote work I am doing now where wall plug access is unavailable or inconvenient.
The fan in the unit is very quiet and hardly noticeable. The hand/light stand mount and attachment of the battery pack holder is very clever and useful. Since mounting is with a 14x20 standard screw, I found that I can use other flash mount brackets to mount the light when the height of the included hand mount is too great or large for an application.
The controls on the back of the unit work perfectly and are intuitive. I don't do video often where I need special effects, so have not explored that feater. However, I did download the app for controlling the lights and it does a nice job controlling light. I connected two and found selecting between them and controlling them individually handy.

Great light with plugged up. Loses almost half the power when utilizing the battery. Built well. Controla take some getting use to but overall a good light at a good price when it's on sell.
