Simple and efficient. The tightening knob is deeply knurled, making the operation easier. Several holes on the bottom make for an easy adaptation of the clamp on most types of support, if not all. I feel confident, thanks to the visible quality of construction. Even though I've not seen any statement about it, I think the GA004 clamp can lock camera/lens combos up to 4 kg (my only opinion, with absolutely no test done to prove it, to be taken for a simple opinion) depending on the lens mass and weight.
